Job Description
SolidWorks CAD designer (temporary)
Pay: $25-$30 based on experience
Shift : Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH MODELS AND DRAWINGS FOR MANUFACTURING.
Position Summary:
This role will focus on converting conceptual sketches and field inputs into accurate, production-ready 3D models.
Key Responsibilities
Convert hand sketches, markups, and existing concepts into detailed SolidWorks models
Create and update parts, assemblies, and drawings to support manufacturing
Maintain file organization
Collaborate with engineering, to ensure designs meet practical build requirements
Make quick revisions based on feedback from engineering team
Ensure drawings include appropriate dimensions, tolerances, and basic manufacturing details.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience with SolidWorks
Proficiency in creating parts, assemblies, and drawings
Ability to interpret sketches, redlines, and verbal direction into accurate models
Basic understanding of fabrication/manufacturing process (welding, sheet metal, is a plus)
Strong attention to detail
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
