Description
We are looking for a 10+ Year Attorney specializing in corporate law and commercial transactions to join our mid-sized law firm client’s team in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. This role emphasizes business and commercial law, including the negotiation and drafting of complex agreements. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in managing sophisticated commercial matters with precision and efficiency. This is a hybrid position. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Arizona or have the ability to waive in by motion.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate intricate commercial contracts, including business-to-business supply agreements.
- Provide legal guidance on matters related to corporate law and real estate transactions.
- Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and distributors to ensure agreements align with business objectives.
- Analyze and address complex legal issues with a focus on minimizing risk and ensuring compliance.
- Represent manufacturers in their business arrangements with customers, distributors, and suppliers.
- Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and the preparation of closing documents.
- Offer strategic advice to clients on commercial real estate matters.
- Maintain strong communication with business professionals and legal teams across different markets.
- Manage multiple high-level projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and legal developments affecting corporate and commercial law.
Requirements- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, and real estate transactions.
- Proven ability to draft, revise, and negotiate complex agreements with precision.
- Strong academic background coupled with exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience working with manufacturers in business-to-business arrangements is preferred.
- Proficiency in handling mergers, acquisitions, and drafting closing documents.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and professionals across diverse markets.
- Prior experience in both big law firms and in-house counsel roles is highly desirable.
- Expertise in contract negotiations and commercial real estate transactions.
