Job Summary:
The PM Facility Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily evening operations and maintenance of a facility’s infrastructure, equipment, and systems. This role is responsible for managing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining a clean and functional work environment. The supervisor works closely with other departments to support operational needs and improve facility performance.
Responsibilities
- Fully understand and support Xanterra Mission Statement, Cultural Pillars, Community Commitment, and Core Values.
- Knowledge of all functions associated with the Engineering/Maintenance Department trades under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.
- Assists in the development of in-house projects, including feasibility, cost, and priority. Assist in the development of in-house projects, including feasibility of in-house labor, estimating execution, and supervision.
- Coordinates trade teams for in-house project implementation under the direction of the project manager.
- Ensures that work orders are being completed promptly with sufficient detail and data for input into our electronic maintenance system.
- Makes Maintenance Manager aware of any delays in completing work orders.
- Assists the Maintenance Manager in scheduling staff.
- Provides recommendations to the Maintenance Manager for promotion to a higher grade in craft.
- Assists managers in the complete execution of all work orders in accordance with daily priorities.
- Provides technical assistance to lower-level Maintenance Technicians and Grounds Supervisors as required.
- Ensures that staff are adhering to all prescribed Company, statutory/regulatory policies and procedures regarding worker safety, risk management, environmental policies, HAZMAT, HAZCOM, confined space, lockout/tagout, and vehicle operation.
- Adheres to all Company-prescribed environmental policies and procedures.
- The Maintenance Supervisor’s schedule will include weekends with regularly scheduled days off during the week.
- Other duties as assigned.
