Job Description

Principal Construction Engineer (Multiple positions), TSMC Arizona Corporation, Phoenix, AZ. Perform engineering design evaluations and work to complete projects within budget and schedule restraints. Review industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Review reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems. Provide technical support for the engineering process. Design, implement, and communicate an operational plan for completing the project. Monitor progress and performance against the project plan. Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identify, develop, and gather resources necessary to complete the project. Prepare engineering designs and work specifications. Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. Supervise engineers, drafters, and/or technicians on a project basis.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in an engineering role.

Alternatively, company will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in an engineering role.

Must have two (2) years of experience in project management.

Must have one (1) year of experience with semiconductor manufacturing principles, practices and techniques as they relate to engineering and maintenance.

Must have one (1) year of experience in piping design and 3D modeling.
