Job Description
This position promotes and restores patient's health by maintaining the day-to-day operation of the patent care area; assisting support staff; working with the clinic provider to assure physical and psychological support for patients at the level for which the Medical Assistant was trained and certified. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position that includes tasks or duties (i.e., driving) that the employer in good faith believes could affect the safety, health or reputation of the Agency, participants, the employee performing the task or others
Qualifications Required
- HS diploma or GED plus Medical Assistant certificate from an accredited program
- Possess valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, MVD report, and reliable transportation
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health records
- Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card and successful completion of a background check
