About Roadcase.com & The Role
Roadcase.com builds high‑quality, built‑to‑order road cases for production and audio/visual (AV) companies. We don’t mass‑produce; every case is custom and demands precision. As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll be cross‑trained and deployed where needed across sanding/paint prep, woodworking, exterior fabrication, shipping/packing, quality control, cleaning, and forklift/material handling. You will read blueprints and work orders, use hand and power tools safely, and help us ship showcase‑level product on time.

Key Responsibilities - Core (All Associates)
- Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, steel‑toe shoes, hearing/respiratory protection as needed).
- Read blueprints/work orders accurately; measure to tight tolerances (down to 1/32" when required).
- Use and maintain hand/power tools; perform basic preventive maintenance (staple guns, routers, sanders, drills).
- Stage materials, keep work areas organized, and communicate blockers early.
- Collaborate with teammates and shift between departments to meet daily goals.
Basic job requirements will include but are not limited to;
- Maintain tools and workstations.
- Cut, route, and sand parts for proper fit and finish.
- Assemble cases using wood glue, staples, and fasteners; verify fit before final fastening.
- Lay out and examine hardware, panels, and extrusion; confirm specs are met; verify with tape measure.
- Use drills and rivet guns safely and efficiently; set up chop saws, grinders, and sanders.
- Measure completed cases for QC; complete fabrication within allotted time frames.
- Notify leadership of low materials; keep area clean and organized.
- Support inventory staging and accurate documentation of work.
Qualifications
- Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred; custom cabinet or casework a strong plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow written, diagram, and oral instructions.
- Proficient with hand/power tools: sanders, routers, staple guns, rivet guns, drills, saws, grinders.
- Accurate tape‑measure use; solid shop math (fractions/decimals).
- High attention to detail; quality‑first mindset; willingness to ask clarifying questions.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, team environment; reliable communication and follow‑through.
Physical & Work Conditions
- Stand for long periods; perform repetitive tasks; bend, reach, and twist as needed.
- Lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs regularly; use team‑lifts for heavier items.
- Warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise, and occasional dust/finishing fumes (PPE provided).
- Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Familiarity with batch production and custom manufacturing.
- Experience with quality checks and documentation.
