Job Description
Be part of the team shaping the future of business jet propulsion. As a Project Engineer I on Honeywell Aerospace’s Turbofan Propulsion team, you’ll support the development and sustainment of next-generation engines, including the HTF7000 family. You’ll gain exposure to cutting-edge propulsion technologies and hands-on experience across the full engine lifecycle-from design through certification, production, and field sustainment.
In this role, you’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, track project schedule and budget, and help manage technical and program risks while driving high-impact engineering projects to timely completion and keeping stakeholders aligned. You’ll contribute to nacelle integration, powerplant installation, and integrated propulsion system development as part of our efforts to deliver reliable, efficient propulsion systems.
Success in this role requires a solid foundation in engineering principles, a desire to develop project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work at our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities
+ Plan, coordinate, and drive propulsion projects forward while tracking progress and supporting risk mitigation
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to solve problems and keep project activities aligned
+ Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into clear project actions
+ Contribute to engineering changes, redesign efforts, and supplier updates that enhance performance, cost, or quality
+ Keep stakeholders informed with clear, consistent communication throughout each project
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
+ Strong understanding of project management principles and engineering processes
+ Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks
+ Strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to continuous learning and improvement

+ Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, including PMP certification
+ Technical knowledge in relevant engineering discipline
