Job Description
D&L Transport Services, LLC is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Over-the-Road (OTR) Box Truck Driver to transport general freight throughout the continental United States.
Drivers operate a 26-foot box truck equipped with air ride suspension and a liftgate. This is a nationwide OTR position requiring extended travel.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate a 26-foot non-CDL box truck.
- Inspect equipment before, during, and after trips.
- Secure freight using straps and load bars.
- Complete electronic logs (ELDs) and shipping paperwork.
- Maintain communication with dispatch.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Schedule:
Typical schedule is approximately three weeks over the road followed by one week home, depending on freight availability and operational needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum one year recent box truck driving experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean MVR.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use a pallet jack.
- Ability to travel nationwide for extended periods.
