Before & After Care Driver

Job Description

Part time Monday through Friday (20 hours per week)

The Youth Education Program Assistant will report to the Youth Program Director

Responsibilities and Duties Driver:

• Works closely with the Youth Program Director and other Drivers to pick up and deliver children to school and from school the the center each day in a safe and timely manner.
• Report any faults, difficulties with vehicle
• Maintain clean vehicle, no eating, drinking allowed on vehicle by children or staff
• Ensure all road laws are followed, all children are safely in seats and buckled up, do not use cell phone while driving.
• Check Roster and ensure all children are on vehicle, contact Program Director if anyone is missing.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Developing rapport with students
• Communicating student needs to the Program Director
• Maintaining a positive attitude
• Providing a safe environment for kids by following all facility processes and procedures.

• Written & Communication skills
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or Dysart Community Center background check, Arizona Driving License and clean driving record

• Education level – High School Diploma or working towards
• Personal characteristics – Good moral principles, patient, firm, enthusiastic, consistent, positive, committed, flexible, fair, willing to learn, desire to improve

We are looking for this person to begin part time in August, 2026 

Monday to Friday 7:30 to 9AM

Monday 12:30 -  2:30PM

Tuesday - Friday 2:30 – 4:30PM
