Job Description

• Receiving and evaluating damaged/returned products: Repackers assess incoming products to determine if they can be salvaged for resale.
• Cleaning and repackaging: Saleable products are cleaned and repackaged, ensuring proper coding and labeling.
• Inventorying and returning to stock: Repackaged products are counted and returned to the inventory system.
• Destroying unsaleable products: Items that cannot be salvaged are properly disposed of, with appropriate records kept for tax purposes.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area: Repackers are responsible for keeping their workspace sanitary and adhering to safety procedures.
• Following quality control standards: Ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications is essential.
• Labeling and preparing for shipment: Properly labeling and preparing packages for shipment or storage.
• Operating equipment: May involve using hand trucks or pallet jacks to move products.
• Working with a team: Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
