What You’ll Do:

+ Set and govern the employee value proposition (EVP) and employer brand strategy, with authority to approve or veto campaigns, messaging and activations that risk misrepresenting Edward Jones – guiding consistent, differentiated brand expression from the careers site to sponsorship events and everywhere in between

+ Direct multichannel, multisegment talent marketing strategies across all major recruiting lines – experienced financial advisors, career changers, technology, executive and home office – translating workforce priorities and competitive intelligence into integrated, multi-year activation plans that shape Edward Jones’ long-term talent competitiveness

+ Govern a multimillion-dollar talent marketing portfolio with independent authority to reallocate capital across paid, owned and earned channels based on performance data, reducing cost-per-hire and improving candidate quality while setting optimization standards for agency and vendor partners

+ Own the vision, roadmap and performance outcomes for the full digital candidate experience ecosystem, with direct accountability for UX, conversion rate optimization (CRO) and search/AI optimization – and responsibility for ensuring sourcing insights and candidate journey data continuously inform enterprise marketing strategy

+ Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of 16 across employer brand, growth marketing, digital experience, sourcing, analytics and recruiter enablement – developing leaders, establishing a culture of data-driven innovation and advancing AI-enabled marketing and sourcing capabilities across the function

+ Drive cross-functional alignment and integrated planning across Enterprise Brand and Marketing, Talent Acquisition, HR, PR/communications, Legal and Finance; own the enterprise Talent Marketing Measurement Framework – including KPI taxonomies, attribution models and executive reporting – to guide capital stewardship and strategic decisions with multi-year implications

What Experience You’ll Need:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

+ 10+ years of progressive experience in talent marketing, employer branding or recruitment marketing, including:

+ Deep knowledge of performance marketing channels including paid media, social, owned and search

+ Demonstrated experience in marketing analytics, attribution modeling and funnel optimization

+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization and manage agency and vendor relationships at scale

+ Experience managing multimillion-dollar marketing budgets and allocating capital across programs and channels

What Could Set You Apart:

+ Experience with marketing technology ecosystems (CRM, programmatic media, sourcing platforms)

+ Background in UX/CRO, digital product strategy or careers site ownership

+ Financial services or regulated industry experience

+ Graduate degree in marketing, communications or a related field

Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.

People Leaders are expected to maintain strong leadership visibility, collaboration, and connection across the firm. For People Leaders who choose to reside outside a commutable distance from a campus location, the role requires regular travel to support these expectations. This role will require presence at a home office campus, or other firm-related travel, for one full week per month. Note: For travel purposes, a “full week” is defined as a minimum of four consecutive days on campus.
