Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to guests efficiently
• Buss tables by removing used dishes, silverware, and glassware, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are met
• Support the kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including refilling condiments or assisting with plating
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations, floors, and dining areas in compliance with food safety guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members using clear language and positive attitude to ensure smooth service flow
• Handle guest requests courteously and promptly, contributing to excellent guest services and hospitality

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with food handling procedures, serving techniques, and bussing is advantageous
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices ensures quality service and guest safety
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
• Background in hospitality, hotel service, or culinary settings can enhance your ability to excel in this role
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment with energy and professionalism
