Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-8 school setting in Buckeye, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking for a full-time school-based role with built-in support and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication development throughout the school year.
The selected SLP will work with a diverse student population and collaborate closely with educational staff to deliver high-quality speech and language services. SLPAs will be available to help support the caseload, providing valuable clinical assistance throughout the assignment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
+ Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
+ Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
+ Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning.
+ Monitor student progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
+ Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.
+ Current CPR certification, if applicable.
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.
+ Current health certificate, if required.
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
