Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Provide individualized instruction, tutoring, reteaching, intervention, orientation, and review support based on each student’s learning plan.
• Support students one-on-one, in small groups, online, or in the classroom based on student need, course assignment, and pacing expectations.
• Help students understand course concepts, lesson objectives, assignment expectations, and academic skills.
• Prepare lesson materials, practice activities, review resources, and intervention supports aligned to student needs.
• Monitor student attendance, engagement, pace, grades, assignment completion, and course progress using school-approved systems.
• Use student data to identify when a student needs additional instruction, redirection, acceleration, or support.
• Help students stay on pace with individualized course plans and academic goals.
• Grade student work and provide timely, meaningful feedback in accordance with school procedures.
• Document interventions, student concerns, communication, instructional support, and follow-up actions using school-approved systems.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, staff, and leadership regarding student progress, support needs, and next steps.
• Use educational technology confidently, including the LMS, digital curriculum, student dashboards, communication tools, reporting tools, and school-approved platforms.
• Demonstrate comfort using AI-supported tools appropriately for lesson preparation, student practice, communication, productivity, and instructional support.
• Reinforce school rules, academic integrity, attendance expectations, classroom expectations, and appropriate student behavior.
• Maintain a structured, respectful, and student-centered learning environment, whether online or in person.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, trainings, and assigned school improvement activities.
• Complete assigned reports, documentation, grading, and follow-up tasks by required deadlines.
