Local Pay: $49.15/hour – W2

Shift Details:

+ Third watch (1330 to 2200) every Friday and Saturday and every other Sunday

Licensed Psychiatric Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Provide direct support and care to patients with mental health and behavioral health needs.

+ Observe patients and report changes in behavior, mood, or condition to clinical staff.

+ Assist with daily activities, personal care, and routine patient needs as required.

+ Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.

+ Support patient activities and encourage positive interactions.

+ Assist clinical staff with patient care, transfers, admissions, and other unit activities.

+ Document patient observations and care accurately and timely.

+ Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

+ Respond appropriately to behavioral or psychiatric emergencies under the direction of clinical staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

+ Minimum of one (1) year related experience within the last 3 years

+ Valid BLS

+ Additional certifications may be required

+ Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

+ Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g.,BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
