Job Description
Underground Utility Foreman – Water/Wastewater (Tucson)
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Underground Utility Foreman or equivalent field leadership role
- Experience installing water, sewer, storm drain, and force main systems
- Strong knowledge of underground utility construction methods, materials, and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and utility layouts
- Knowledge of grades, elevations, and proper pipe installation techniques
- Experience directing and supervising field crews to meet daily production, quality, and safety goals
- Ability to coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules
- Knowledge of excavation, trenching, shoring, and OSHA requirements
- Ability to identify and resolve field issues and coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, inspectors, and other project personnel
- Experience operating or working around heavy construction equipment
- Ability to conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Valid driver's license required
- CDL preferred
