Job Description

Inspecting doors and wood components for scratches, dents, cracks, glue residue, sanding marks, contamination, and other surface defects.

Confirming that products have been properly sanded and prepared.

Performing additional sanding or surface preparation when required.

Removing dust, dirt, grease, and other contaminants.

Cleaning surfaces before applying finishing materials.

Masking glass, hardware, openings, labels, and other areas that should not receive finish.

Properly positioning doors and components for spraying.
-
Protecting surrounding areas from overspray.
-
Identifying products that require additional preparation before finishing.
-
Communicating preparation or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
