1. Course Objective:
Description: This is a 100% hands-on course offered by Phoenix Computer Academy. This course is taught in cohort manner with other fellow students and is online, instructor led. The laptop computer, software and textbooks are mailed to students to perform hands on exercises. In this training program we focus on Office 365. We teach you Office 365 basics, working with files and folders, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook. The course has a bonus component. Students can augment their MOS knowledge with either QuickBooks training or basic Web design programming.
Competencies to be achieved: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) is an industry-recognized certification program that validates skills in Microsoft Office applications. With over 3.9 million jobs every year requesting Microsoft Office skills (in the United States alone), those who take and pass MOS certifications are skilled and they stand out in the competitive job market, while simplifying daily tasks and fostering career growth.
