1. Course Objective:
Description:
Prepares students for entry-level positions in medical billing, coding, reimbursement, health information, and related healthcare administrative roles. Instruction includes ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding, insurance claims processing, EMR systems, compliance, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and healthcare reimbursement.

Refund Policy
If a student withdraws or is expelled by College after the start of the semester and before the completion of more than sixty percent (60%) of the semester, College will refund to the student a pro rata amount of the tuition agreed upon in the enrollment agreement, minus ten percent (10%) of the tuition agreed upon. If a student completes more than sixty percent (60%) of his/her term, he/she is not entitled to any refund and is obligated for the full contract price of the term.
