Description
A CNA Course approved by the AZSBN / We adhere to the state rules and
regulations so that our students are eligible to take the state approved
exam. A state approved testing site, so our students are able to test at
our facility. Upon certification, students are able to work in a skilled
nursing facility or private duty setting anywhere in Arizona. Course is
120 hrs of training under the tutelage of an R.N. 80 hours of classroom
instruction
include skills practice; remaining 40 hrs devoted to
clinical at skilled nursing facility under
supervision of
instructor.
Students learn proficiency in communication, infection control, safety
& emergency procedures, knowledge of resident’s rights, basic
nursing skills, personal care skills, feeding methods, elimination
procedures, skin care, transferring/positioning/turning methods,
dressing, helping a resident ambulate, ROM exercises, recognizing &
reporting signs & symptoms of common diseases, and caring for the
