A. Course Objective
Description: Prepare for entry level positions in shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and flux core arc welding (FCAW).
Competencies to be achieved: Upon successful completion of the Fabrication Welding Certificate program, the learner will be able to:
Students who complete this certificate have demonstrated advanced skills in all aspects of welding, such as structural fabrication, ornamental, and working with exotic metals.
