Description

Course Objective:

Unity's unique program has been structured to meet the demands of today’s students by teaching and training in a flexible and convenient two-part series of classes. With no prior experience needed, it is designed to prepare students to immediately enter the workforce as trained dental assistants. Using advanced techniques based on the modern practices of dentists, the learning experience ensures students receive the right skill set to succeed.

Part 1 Online Classes: Offered exclusively through Unity’s proprietary online student portal. Here, students will watch instructional training videos, guide themselves through lectures slides, and complete quizzes and tests. Once all online coursework has been completed with a passing grade, students will then move onto Part 2 Hands-on Training.

Part 2 Hands-On Training: Students will find a familiarity with each of these classes as they work through the entire curriculum for a second time via hands-on clinical training. Each online lecture is taught in an in-person setting by a Unity Instructor, ensuring the student is given multiple opportunities to learn the material prior to completing the program. Classes are taught in various parts of a dental practice with significant amounts of hands-on training. Students finish the program by assisting a licensed dentist during live patient procedures, offering real world experience in a safe learning environment.
