Program Name:  Pharmacy Technician Training Program

1. Course Objective

Description: Training Services Delivered by Maricopa Corporate College in partnership with Education 2 Go. Pharmacy Technician program prepares you to work under the direction of a pharmacist in a community or hospital setting. Pharmacy technicians create and update patient profiles, work as part of a team to fill prescriptions, and more. 

Competencies to be achieved:

• Pharmacology


• Pharmacy Law, Regulations, and Standards


• Business of a Pharmacy (Both Retail and Hospital)


• Prescriptions


• Pharmaceutical Calculations


• Nonsterile Compounding

Training Services Offered When: This program is offered self-paced online with start dates every Monday. Once registered, the student will receive 12 months to complete the program.

** Students are strongly encouraged to complete their training within the designated access term. However, we understand that some students may need additional time to be successful. Program extensions are available and require an additional extension fee. Please note, program progress is stored up to 6-months after the program expiration date. If you do not extend the program within those 6 months, your program progress would be lost and you would need to re-purchase the program and start over.
