Program Name:  Pharmacy Technician Training Program

A. Course Objective 

Description: CareerStep’s Pharmacy Technician program prepares you to work under the direction of a pharmacist in a community or hospital setting. Pharmacy technicians create and update patient profiles, work as part of a team to fill prescriptions, and more.

• Pharmacy Law, Regulations, and Standards


• Business of a Pharmacy (Both Retail and Hospital)


• Prescriptions


• Pharmaceutical Calculations


• Nonsterile Compounding

Training Services Offered When:  281 + 130 externship hours/ 12 months of program access
