- Execute transactions effectively for smooth procurement operations
Description:
In this Basic Logistics certificate program, we will delve into the essentials of global trade infrastructure. This certificate program covers the three core components of logistics networks: transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Upon completion, participants will be able to identify the pros and cons of various transportation methods. They will gain insights into the design and establishment of warehousing facilities. Ultimately, they will be equipped to make choices that help create logistics networks optimized for cost-efficiency and excellent customer service.
Competencies to be Achieved:
LGS 112 Foundational Planning, Procurement, and Service Operations: Provides foundational insights of key elements of logistics with a focus on sales operations, demand forecasting, replenishment planning, manufacturing services, sourcing strategies, and transaction execution.
