Description

The Manufacturing Specialist Intensive (MSI) Program a targeted educational program designed to prepare individuals for the role of manufacturing specialist at TSMC Arizona. To showcase the skills acquired by students and distinguish the MSI Program from other educational offerings, Grand Canyon University has partnered with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) to provide industry-recognized professional credentials for the competencies gained through the program

The program curriculum is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the semiconductor industry, wafer fabrication processes, standard operational procedures, and structured workflows as it relates to the specific responsibilities associated with the manufacturing specialist position. The knowledge, skills, and tools acquired through this program will offer students a strong foundation for pursuing employment with TSMC or other semiconductor manufacturers across Arizona. Upon completion of this program the students will receive a certificate of completion along with 16 credit hours from Grand Canyon University and industry recognized professional credentials from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
