Description

The Skin and Makeup Institute’s 600-hour Aesthetic Program is a state-licensed, hands-on training experience designed to fully prepare students for a successful career in skincare. We believe the best education comes from doing—not just listening—so our curriculum is built around practical, in-person learning in a professional clinic environment. No passive e-learning here.

Students gain real-world experience in advanced facial techniques, skin analysis, hair removal, makeup application, and client care using top-tier industry tools and products.

But we don’t stop at state board prep. While we’re proud to maintain a 98% pass rate on the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology licensing exam over the past year, our mission goes further. We strive to make this program more than just a license—it’s a launchpad. From resume support to building a clientele, we equip our students with the business, communication, and technical skills they need to thrive after graduation.
