Description
- Course Objective:
The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) program provides students with a
comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of effective project management.
Designed for individuals beginning their careers in project coordination or support roles, the program covers essential concepts such as the project lifecycle, terminology, and frameworks aligned with recognized project management standards. Students will develop a strong foundation in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and team communication. Upon successful completion of the program, students will also earn 23 contact hours, fulfilling a key eligibility requirement for the CAPM certification exam.
Competencies to be achieved:
Understand the foundational concepts of project management and its lifecycle Apply project management terminology aligned with industry standards Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and documentation Identify project roles, responsibilities, and organizational influences Support stakeholder communication and change management processes Contribute to quality control, risk identification, and team coordination Demonstrate awareness of project integration and scope management fundamentals Build the confidence and knowledge base needed for project roles
