Description
- Course Objective
The Help Desk IT Support program equips students with the technical skills and knowledge required to provide front-line IT support in a variety of professional settings. Through hands-on training and real-world applications, students will gain experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing operating systems, supporting modern desktop environments, and understanding core networking concepts. The program prepares students to deliver high-quality support while communicating effectively and resolving technical issues efficiently
Competencies to be achieved:
Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software issues. Support and manage modern desktop environments. Understand computer systems, devices, and operating systems. Apply foundational networking concepts and practices. Provide end-user support across a variety of platforms and devices. Communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Utilize tools and procedures for managing IT resources in a help desk setting
