Description

Description: This 3-course program is designed to prepare learners with the essential knowledge, technical skills, and hands-on experience required to operate, maintain, and apply drone technology in various industries. Learners will gain proficiency in operating drones with the National Airspace System (NAS), while also learning to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Unmanned Aircraft Systems. The curriculum includes courses on flight operations, drone safety, and the use of drones in commercial settings.


Competencies: Upon program completion, learners will be able to demonstrate proficiency in: unmanned aircraft systems assembly, maintenance, and repair; basic unmanned aircraft systems flight operations; and one or more commercial applications of unmanned aircraft systems.
