Course Overview
This 10-week course combines didactic lectures, online modules, hands-on labs, clinical rotations, and patient simulations. Each component is designed to provide students with comprehensive critical care skills, enabling them to manage complex medical situations in pre-hospital and hospital settings.
Steps for Success
Attend our authorized AZDHS Critical Care Paramedic course which
consists of 200 hours of education to include 135 contact hours
(didactic) 40 hours of clinical training, and 25 hours of field training.
Sit for and pass the Board of Critical Care and Transport Paramedics
Certification (BCCTPC) or Flight Paramedic Certification (FPC). Then
Apply for your AZDHS Critical Care Paramedic Endorsement.
